Being one of the founding members I granted him a place in the council again. He has been inactive and therefore had this status removed, but recently he has shown enough activity to earn that status back. He will help me form and judge members of the tribes ascend squad.

Heavy Increase in activity
I am really happy to say that our teamspeak is full with people playing nearly every night now. Awesome to split up the team on blood and diamond and just try a few things.

New Trials

Team Forming Starting
Since the games will probably be played 7v7 I was thinking about creating 2 Teams soon. However praccies can be played with any of the players for now.

Redesign
We will get a new design! I talked to a friend of mine today and told her about tribes ascend and how i would like to see nimbleMinds get a redesign now. Expect preview next week

Wiki
I am planning on integrating more about the Games that we play on our new Wiki. I have to add the desing and I know it is empty, but more will follow soon. If you want to contribute, just talk to me.

Trials and Team-forming

Training Days
I think we are now at a point were we could think about regular training. I would suggest Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as possible days. Please tell me when you can play. Of course casual gaming is still possible every day. First train with sing-ups is online. Tribes Ascend Training


Private Server
As soon as our Team is full (~10 People) I will then sign us up on the HiRez Forums to get a private server!

Tribes Ascend is still in the beta phase but our regular public gaming and being on the lookout for nimbleMembers already led a lot of new people to nimbleMinds.

Some patchnotes were released yesterday on the official hirezstudio boards. We can be looking forward to a new map, some balancing tweaks and some bug fixes.

Another year has passed and this clan is still alive. We started the year with another TAM cup which was over quickly but we had brink to look forward to. It arrived in may and we had more than 8 people active. A few wanted to join nM during that time, but the game got quickly ruined by the rules the ESL forced on the community ( disabling level 5 skills ). The game overall seemed to be less movement-skill driven than the videos promised. Therefore we spend the rainy summer with less gaming than expected. Many members were already playing starcraft 2 and some still are, but the new starcraft seems to be less of a teamgame than the other strategy games before. Everybody is playing 1v1 and therefore the squad was never really born :p
Our ut99 squad is still really active and they have been seem a lot on teamspeak and irc. I only wish you could be seen more often in the boards

But now we have 2012 and what can we expect? Well for starters we already have multiple members playing the tribes ascend beta. Even diesel also known as eiter arose from the ashes of the ut2k4 assault time and is among the regular visitors on our teamspeak. He has played tribes 2 in BSG and therefore plans to help me build the squad playing tribes ascend. I am hocked up on the game and therefore you can expect my full force on this game. The good thing about the beta is, that I have been playing the game a lot and it definitely has a lot of potential. Even in the beta stage it is far more than brink could ever be. Besides the shooting and intelligent usage of items and skills you have to be able to move, predict the opponents movement and work together as a team to win the game. Multiple classes promise a place in the game for everyones taste.

I still own a root server which has been hoping the whole last year to have more to do than ut99. Therefore we will get our own private server if that is possible. If I have to rent one, I will do that as well.

Let this be a wonderful 2012 with a lot of gaming, nimbleMeetings ( What about spain this year? ) and a lot more activity

Since I haven't been active for ages I almost don't have the right to do this anymore, but still, merry christmas to all of you! Have a nice few days with your family, your new toys and most important: FOOD

The Beta is available and by key creation we have been able to get a few people to play already. Diesel aka Eiter, Patser and me are playing on a regular basis already. Gunnie just needs to join soon and even J3ff showed up last weekend...

The game is based on the ut3.x engine and therefore will probably run on your pc if you were able to play ut3 with a decent framerate. The game can be installed via the installer called Hi-Command. You should ask for a key inside our forums because as soon as one installs the game one can create another key, and with that key generation chain we plan to get the whole clan inside.

About the game
It is a class based first person shooter with (currently) limited weapons and a moving concept called skiing. You can ski downhill and therefore gain momentum and use your jetpack to avoid the uphill part just to skii downhill again to accelerate more and more.
After each game you gain XP and tokens which can be used to upgrade classes or even unlock more classes. The modes currently played are CTF and TDM. Just join us on teamspeak
